The Challenge: Managing High Patient Volume

When you're managing 50+ GLP-1 patients, how do you know who needs attention right now? The Traffic Light method is a triage system that automatically categorizes patients so you can focus on the ones who need you most.

RED Classification

Patients are classified as RED when they need immediate attention:

  • **High Symptom Severity**: Any symptom rated above 6/10
  • **Consecutive Weight Gain**: Weight increase for 3+ consecutive weeks

What to Do

Contact RED patients within 24 hours. Consider:

  • Medication adjustment
  • In-person consultation
  • Additional monitoring

YELLOW Classification

YELLOW indicates patients who need follow-up:

  • **Missed Check-In**: No check-in for 7+ days
  • **Weight Plateau**: No weight change for 2+ consecutive weeks

What to Do

Reach out to YELLOW patients within 48-72 hours:

  • Send a reminder message
  • Review their medication adherence
  • Discuss potential barriers

GREEN Classification

GREEN patients are progressing well:

  • Recent check-in (within 7 days)
  • Weight trending downward
  • Active payment status
  • No concerning symptoms

What to Do

Continue standard monitoring. These patients are on track.

Dashboard Sorting

The patient list automatically sorts by risk level:

  1. RED patients appear first
  2. YELLOW patients second
  3. GREEN patients last

This ensures you always see the most critical patients at the top.
